Our February 11th Meeting at St. Andrew’s on the Sound Episcopal Church, at the corner of Airlie Road and Military Cutoff, will begin with coffee and refreshments at 9:30 AM.

Our speaker for the meeting will be Madison D. Lowe of Greensboro, NC. Madison is a 2015 graduate of Guilford College in Justice and Policy Studies. Currently, she is pursuing a graduate degree in Family and Marriage Counseling from Liberty University. Madison has worked with at-risk youth and families through the Guilford County Court system for more than 10 years. Her focus is to help women and teen girls overcome generational cycles of poverty.
Madison has been recognized by The Who’s Who Among College Students in 2015. In the same year, she was honored to receive the Community Justice Award for her contributions as a community advocate for juvenile justice and human rights. From 2014-2016, Madison served as the Vice Chair of Greensboro’s Commission on the Status of Women. Madison is a member of the Greensboro AAUW. This year she plans to open Dream Girlz Foundation, a nonprofit, to inspire teen girls to achieve greatness through practical advice, personal and professional leadership and civic engagement.
