AAUW January & February 2018 Branch Meetings

              HAPPY NEW YEAR           

Saturday, January 13,, 2018:
AAUW will welcome Wilbur Jones, retired Captain of the US Naval Reserves as our program speaker. He will share his research and collection of memorabilia on Rosie the Riveter. Captain Jones’ mother, Mrs. W.D. Jones, was a charter member of this chapter of AAUW.
We will gather for coffee at 9:30 AM and our program will begin at 10:00 AM at St. Andrews On The Sound Episcopal Church, at Airlie and Military Cutoff Roads.  Our meetings are free and the public is welcomed.
 
 
 
Saturday, February 10, 2018:
The AAUW program will feature Michelle A. Haley, the new University Program Associate at UNCW. She assists with the Technology Loan Program, grants, student competitions, and professional learning workshops in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Michelle has over 20 years of experience teaching middle school science. She is National Board Certified in Early Adolescent Science, has a degree in business administration and is a Kenyan Fellow.
Coffee and conversation begin at 9:30 AM and Michelle will speak at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew’s On The Sound Episcopal Church at Airlie and Military Cutoff roads.
OUR MEETINGS ARE FREE AND THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME TO ATTEND!
