Our guest speaker for our March AAUW meeting is Susan DeMarco, Librarian / Outreach Supervisor for New Hanover County Library. Ms. DeMarco will be focusing on the GALE courses and other continuing educational/career type resources.
Ms. De Marco earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from UNCW andNC Central University. She was a middle school teacher for 5 years. Along with this, she is a certified Yoga instructor. She has been with the library for 10 years.
Coffee will be served at 9:30 and the meeting will begin at 10:00 at St. Andrew’s On-the-Sound Episcopal Church at 101 Airlie Road in Wilmington. Meetings are free and visitors are always welcome.
Kirsti Kreutzer, recipient of an American Association of University Women (AAUW) career development grant, will be our featured speaker on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at St. Andrews on the Sound Church at the corner of Airlie and Military Cutoff Roads.

Kirsti has been active in film and theatre before developing an advocacy for midwifery and birth issues. She currently attends the UNCW seeking to complete a Master of Social Work with a focus on women and gender studies.
The meeting is open to the public and there is no cost involved.
